Guidance for reopening your business
North Carolina will move into Safer At Home Phase 2 of lifting COVID-19 restrictions at 5 p.m. Friday, May 22. Phase 2 runs through at least Friday, June 26 unless changed or canceled.
Industries to remain closed during Phase 2 include bars, night clubs, gyms and indoor fitness facilities, indoor entertainment venues such as movie theaters, and bowling alleys.
Using information supplied by the NC Department of Health & Human Services, the Gaston Business Task Force has developed this Back to Business Safely website to provide critical information to businesses as they prepare to reopen. Below are guides to industry-specific reopening requirements and recommendations. As future Phase 3 information becomes available, this website will be updated.
